Start your first fuse bead project.

1. Pick a small chart
Start with Tiny makes: six original 16 × 16 charts with fewer than 100 beads and at most three colors. Open the interactive guide for three suggested starter charts and their exact materials.
2. Check your supplies
Match the chart’s bead brand and size to a compatible square pegboard. Check the listed color names and quantities against your actual stash. You will also need the protective paper and finishing supplies specified by your material manufacturer.
3. Read, place, and check
Open the making chart, zoom, turn on symbols, and work in rows or by color. Empty cells stay empty. Inspect separate groups, isolated beads, and narrow joins. Mark completed placements to resume later in the same browser.
4. Follow the manufacturer when finishing
Have an adult handle the iron, follow the instructions for your exact beads and board, and allow the work to cool as directed. PinDo placement estimates do not include fusing or finishing. Keep your own test observations and a photo of the physical result.
5. Keep an independent backup
Save your private chart before exporting a library backup. Browser data can be cleared, and another browser or site address has a separate library. Export a PNG or print chart when you want a readable reference away from the screen.
