Plan bead colors and quantities before you buy.
A useful shopping list starts with the chart you plan to make and the quantities you have actually counted. Owning a color and owning enough of it are different checks.
Count your stash only when you know the number
Add colors in My beads. You can leave a quantity unknown instead of guessing. Enter zero when a color runs out. Owned-color filters find charts using your colors; per-pattern availability then compares known counts with the chart’s requirements.
Plan every copy together
Open Plan beads on a collection and choose how many copies of each chart you want. The planner totals shared colors once across all copies. Two charts using red need a combined red quantity, not two independent comparisons against the same stash.
Keep a shortage separate from an unknown count
A shortage is calculated when the required quantity exceeds a known available quantity. An unknown count means the planner cannot tell whether you have enough. The CSV distinguishes these cases so you can count a color before ordering an unnecessary pack.
Add the finishing supplies yourself
Pattern totals count the chart’s beads. They exclude spares, pegboards, protective paper, magnets, jump rings, backing, and other finishing supplies. Check the manufacturer’s materials and the design’s joins before making a purchase. PinDo does not reserve stock or promise a supplier’s current price.
