Turn a picture into a private bead pattern.
A good image conversion starts with a clear subject and a grid small enough to edit. Automatic conversion is a first draft; it still needs a maker’s review.
Choose artwork you have permission to use
Use your own picture or artwork with permission covering your intended use. Saving a private chart does not grant a right to publish or sell someone else’s image. PinDo creator preparation keeps source and permission notes separate from public credit.
Compare whole-image fitting with a center crop
Whole-image fitting preserves the frame. A center crop gives the main subject more of the grid, but can remove important edges. Try both before drawing corrections. Keep a backup of the original image independently; library exports do not include the source image.
Reduce the palette, then edit the silhouette
Use the color limit and optional pale-background removal to simplify the chart. Zoom in on eyes, outlines, and corners. Check isolated beads, separate groups, and single-bead joins before assuming the design will survive fusing or become a usable charm.
Save the chart and keep an independent export
Studio designs remain private in your browser. Save changes before making a whole-library backup. If a save fails, download the unsaved Studio chart for recovery. A successful digital save is separate from a finished and physically tested bead object.
